Wild Cosmetics is a range of natural deodorants that caters to the growing demand for high performing, natural alternatives to antiperspirants. The deodorants perform and are applied just like any other deodorant, but contain no aluminium, parabens or sulphates. They are vegan-friendly and are never tested on animals.
Wild has launched with a range of eight deodorants across Stick and Roll on formats available as a one-off purchase or on subscription.
You can choose from one of four natural fragrance options including Mint and Eucalyptus, Rose and Geranium, Lemon and Thyme and an unfragranced version.
Wild use active naturals to combat the smell of sweat whilst still allowing your body to sweat, which they see as a natural and important process used by your body to remove toxins and regulate temperature.
The Roll-On range comes in glass with refill bottles that will reduce plastic use by more than 80% vs normal deodorants. They are also working with a specialist packaging design agency to develop similar eco-friendly packaging for their stick range which currently uses plastic that is 100% recyclable and they hope to be plastic free by Christmas.

This summer on holiday my burnt (oops – please try and look after your skin responsibly) face was in dire need of help and the Nakin Skincare Performance facial serum, £25 came to the rescue! Over the last few years I’ve heard a lot about this brand and never had the chance to try it until now! I’ve sat back and watched people be told you can’t talk about it in beauty groups because everyone that genuinely loves it must be selling it! Shouldn’t we all just be supporters of other people and their genuine love for products as this may lead someone else to their lifetime favourite product one day?
First up we tried the Younique Mineral Touch foundation in shade Scarlet, £30 Available online here
The bottle comes with a dropper head for easy and minimal application, as you really don’t need much of it at all, to cover your entire face. It is a light formula which glides over the skin easily and it lasts all day with no dry patches! The colour was fantastic too as I tend to find even the lightest of shades leaves me matching my hair and glowing in an orangey fashion – but this one sits probably one of the closest ever shade to date!
I applied it with the super-soft Younique Liquid foundation brush, £25 – get yours here this one really is great as you don’t loose product into the bristles!
If this isn’t your kind of brush try the Younique foundation brush, £16 – shop it here!
Last up we have the Touch a la mode cream to powder luminizer, £30 in shade ‘Lustrous’ (rose gold)… This shade didn’t quite match up with me unfortunately and we found it best warm the stick up a little to get a smooth effortless sweep onto your chosen areas! It lasted several hours and gave a lovely subtle glow which you could build up!

Who can refuse especially when it’s a dead on dupe for the #naked3 palette! My purse certainly prefers it, and I’m not sure no matter how much I love #UD that I’d really want to spend out any more!

Dreaming of a light foundation…
We are forever dreaming of a foundation that matches this ever so pinky pale skin that we have forever lived with… and we seem to be getting closer to the actual match day by day!
We tried out Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquaelle Liquid Foundation, £46.40 (53 Euros) a delightfully light gel foundation which sweeps on evenly, going far for only a little touch of liquid. Here we tried out their lightest shade, Coconut milk parfait – a milky-pale pink beige shade. Applied with the brands Aqua Primer,
£46.40 (53 Euros) which contains a plethora of active ingredients to aid cell tissue regeneration, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, provides intensive hydration, firming and smoothing; and it’s anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory! This is a miracle in a bottle, giving a fabulous canvas to apply foundation to!
Between the pair, the foundation stayed on all day, and felt ever so lightweight throughout. We found a little oxidisation occurring when we didn’t user a primer with our face oils though, but we just beat this with a good pre-cleanse and with this shade no blending near the forehead as it gets too dark for us! (Forehead is super pale!) But over all a fantastic foundation, that’s well worth the money!
